DTV Converters with Analog Pass-ThroughWhat is Analog Pass-Through?It sounds complicated, but isn't. It means the converter box will still receive analog stations properly. Without it, analog is blocked. That means TIA signals will be blocked. Who makes such boxes? In Ukiah, unfortunately Poma TV does not carry them, but Radio Shack is a good source. Make sure you mention analog pass-through, because they have other models that are not. If you buy one from WalMart, be careful. According to the NTIA.gov website, only these digital TV (DTV) converter boxes will work with analog TV translators such as those used by TIA. You should only purchase converters listed here, or you may have problems receiving our channels.
Others may also be available.
